Don’t get me wrong, I am all about a good Bootie, but I also love showing off my favorite Flat during the Fall season! On days when I’m in a more casual mood, there is nothing I love more than a stylish, but comfortable Flat. Here are some of my favorites for this season. I am especially loving printed Flats (how great are these Plaid ones from Shoedazzle?!) and completely obsessed with Oxfords! I hope this post helps get your shoe shopping off on the right foot!
Well friends, I am at it again! I may never grow tired of creating new and amazing combinations of prints (and hopefully you don’t either!). For Spring, I was obsessed with matching Stripes and Florals (see “A (Mis) Match Made in Heaven“), but this time around, the trusted Polka Dot has proven appropriate to pair with Florals too!
Combining Floral and Polka Dot prints in this outfit creates a unique but chic look. This floral printed blazer from Celeb Look has easily become my favorite jacket in my wardrobe! Not only is the multi-colored floral a pretty feminine print, but I also love the fitted structure of this jacket. The great fit of the blazer is extremely figure flattering and is (surprisingly) a great match for these Polka Dot pants.
This fun and fashionable look is perfect for the working gal! Now that we are approaching the end of the year and anxiously awaiting the holiday season (and PTO), I find it easier to skip the snooze when I have a cute ensemble waiting to be worn (please tell me I’m not the only one). Having this awesome outfit of my two favorite prints waiting for me at 7 a.m. will definitely serve as some Monday motivation! I hope it serves as some style inspiration for you all too!

Nothing says “Fall Style” more than the perfect Plaid print. An array of seasonal pieces look amazing in this pattern, from flannels to scarves and of course, the infamous Plaid Skirt. A mini skirt in this particular print epitomizes the attire of a school girl, but designers such as Yves Saint Laurent have taken this look from playground to high fashion, making the “School Girl Look” on trend this season.
For a classic Fall look, I paired this pleated Plaid Skirt with a navy knit sweater. To create contrast, (and since I’m such a fan of the mismatch effect), I added a checkered flannel under the sweater. Shown below are some additional pictures sans the flannel simply because I liked the outfit both ways. If you have a preference, please comment and let me know! Of course, a great riding boot goes great with a mini skirt and you can never go wrong with allowing the peep of an adorable leg warmer out from underneath your favorite pair.
Although my School Days are far behind me (even college, sniff, sniff), I am loving this outfit for a casual work look or even a cute ensemble for a low-key date night! I’d love to hear your “Yay” or “Nay” thoughts on the “School Girl Look!” Be sure to leave a comment to let me know 🙂
Thanks for reading Friends!

Along with the flavor of pumpkin and the task of costume-seeking for the Halloween holiday (I’m obsessed with making a very fashion forward Wonder Woman costume) the Fall season also brings us the best climate of the year. Sweater Weather allows us to leave behind the hair humid days of Summer and emerge ourselves in the fresh, cool autumn air that only requires the cover of a comfortable and cozy knit sweater.
I am completely obsessed with this open, heart-printed Sweater from my new favorite online boutique, Celeb Look. This style of Sweater is one that will eventually become my Fall uniform. In my closet, it serves as a triple threat – something I can wear to work, for day and my favorite, lazy days full of lounging and catching up with PLL. I welcome any copy cats that are smart enough to get the one I’m wearing in this post! It is cozy beyond words and obviously, super adorable!
As many of your know, I love the challenge of mixing prints and loved this combo of polka dots with hearts. Since the polka dot print was sporadic, it isn’t overwhelming against the repeated heart pattern. Both prints compliment each other with their feminine style. To keep the look casual, I paired the Sweater with my favorite dark denim skinny jeans. By cuffing the denim, I was able to wear my solid black booties to complete this Fall look.

I have been very excited to share these pics featuring my new favorite Fall trend (at the moment), the Full Skirt! I find the style appealing for its very feminine look. Being a sucker for the classics, I love how wearing a Full Skirt, with its structure and flare, gives the essence of past fashionistas, such as Audrey Hepburn in “When in Rome” and Olivia Newton John as Sandy (pre-makeover) in “Grease”.
With its elegance and sophistication, the Full Skirt is a great bottom for both a professional or formal affair. My featured look is for a business-casual setting, but by swapping the booties for pumps and sweater for a silk top, you can create a very glam party-perfect ensemble.
Of course, one fabulous part of Fall Fashion is the ability to layer. One of my favorite looks is layering chambray under a lightweight sweater. The shirt’s collar and folded cuffs are the perfect way to break up a busy print, such as this Cheetah Print. The high-waist on the skirt allowed me to successfully layer without creating a bulky figure. I love how the skirt gives a vintage feel to a modern outfit. Speaking of Fall Fashion, this look wouldn’t be complete without some adorable booties! I have a feeling these black wedges will quickly become one of my wardrobe staples this season!
